A week ago, an adorable little boy celebrated his first birthday at Casa Minerva. Seeing his photos made me nostalgic because he blew his first birthday cake on the very same table where I blew mine decades ago. That table underwent some changes, i.e. glass was broken and had been replaced and the original white frame had been painted black. But it stood the test of time to serve the same purpose it did when it was new. In behalf of Casa Minerva, I wish this little boy a Happy First Birthday and all the good fortune that came my way since I blew my first cake on that table. |
