At Casa Minerva, we have the local version of the billiard table. It is basically a wooden square table that rotates on its base (so that the players don't have to move around the table) and uses flat chips instead of balls. Talcum powder is placed on the surface of the table to make it slippery so that the chips can glide smoothly. This pool table may be simple but definitely ingenious, unique, and proudly Filipino-made.

As part of our endeavor to promote Filipino culture, we added this Pinoy-style pool table which our guests can enjoy playing (for free).
